Steady Privacy Policy

Who we are

Steady is provided by Jigsaw Tech Limited. Contact for privacy questions: privacy@jigsawtech.app.

What stays on your device

• Your music and practice — settings, songs, setlists, exercises, routines and your practice log.
• Your timing settings — the headphone delay measured for each pair of headphones, and feel mode.

These are stored only in the app's own storage on your device. They are not sent to us. Deleting the app deletes them. Your device's own backup (such as iCloud or Google) may include them, depending on your device settings.

The microphone

The tuner listens to your instrument to find its pitch. The sound is analysed on your device, as you play, and it is not recorded, stored or sent anywhere. The app asks for the microphone only when you open the tuner. You can refuse, or turn it off later in your device settings; everything else in the app works without it.

Files and links you share

If you back up to a file or share a setlist, the app makes a file or link containing your songs (and, for a backup, your exercises, routines and practice log), and hands it to the place you choose — such as Files, iCloud Drive, Google Drive, email or a message. It goes only where you send it; we never receive it.

Notifications

On Android, a notification shows while the metronome plays, with Play and Stop buttons, so the click keeps going with the screen off. Steady sends no other notifications.

Purchases

If you buy Steady Pro, the payment is handled by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) under their own privacy policies. We never see your card or billing details, or your name.

What we do not collect

• No name, email address, phone number, or account credentials — the app has no accounts or sign-in.
• No analytics, usage tracking or crash reporting, and no recordings of your playing.
• We do not use advertising identifiers and do not track you across other apps or websites.

Service providers

Because the app sends nothing to us, no provider processes your data on our behalf. App stores handle downloads and purchases under their own policies, as above. Information may be disclosed to any person to whom we are required or permitted to disclose it by law.

Your choices

• Microphone: turn it off for Steady in your device settings at any time; only the tuner needs it.
• Keep a copy: back up to a file from Settings, and restore it on any device.
• Delete: delete songs, setlists or exercises in the app, or uninstall the app to remove everything it has stored.

Children

Steady has no accounts and does not ask anyone, including children, for personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we change what the app sends or keeps, we will update this page before the change reaches the app, and change the date above.
