Table Leveler Privacy Policy

Who we are

Table Leveler is provided by Jigsaw Tech Limited. Contact for privacy questions: privacy@jigsawtech.app.

What leaves your device

Only crash and error reports, so we can find and fix problems, and feedback you choose to send (below). When the app crashes or hits an error, and for a sample of screen loads, it sends:

• the error message, where in the app it happened, and which screen was open;
• how long screens took to load;
• a random ID made when the app is installed, so we can tell how many installations a problem affects (it identifies the installation, not you, and a new one is made if you reinstall);
• the app version, the phone model, and the operating system and its version.

Reports contain no name, email, account, advertising ID, contacts, photos, location or measurements, and our crash-reporting provider is set not to store your network (IP) address. They are not linked to you, not used for advertising or tracking, and not sold.

Feedback you choose to send

From version 1.0.1, you can send us a message from the app: tap Send feedback under the main screen, or shake your phone. Nothing is sent unless you write a message and tap Send. Then only what you write is sent, with the same app and phone details as a crash report, to the same provider. The form doesn't ask for your name or email, so we can't reply to it; for an answer, email support@jigsawtech.app.

What stays on your device

• Motion readings — the app reads the accelerometer and gyroscope to measure the table's tilt and how you turn the phone. These readings are processed on your device and never sent anywhere.
• Your settings — the kind of table and its leg spacing, units, adjustment mode and your phone's calibration. They are stored only in the app's own storage on your device; deleting the app deletes them.
• Spoken guidance — read aloud by your phone's built-in voices.

Camera, microphone, location and photos

• Camera — used only if you choose to measure the table with it. It runs through your phone's augmented reality (Apple ARKit on iPhone, Google ARCore on Android) to find where the legs stand. The images are processed on your device, and the app does not save or send them.
• Microphone, location and photos — never asked for or used. Your phone's settings may list them because the augmented reality library in the app contains those abilities.

You can turn the camera off for Table Leveler in your device settings at any time; you can then type the table's size in instead.

Google Play Services for AR

On Android, camera measuring runs on Google Play Services for AR (ARCore), which is provided by Google and governed by the Google Privacy Policy.

What we do not collect

• No name, email address, phone number, or account credentials — the app has no accounts or sign-in.
• No analytics or usage tracking, and no measurements, images or location.
• We do not use advertising identifiers and do not track you across other apps or websites.

Why we use it

Solely to find and fix crashes, errors and slow screens, and to read the feedback you send. We do not sell this data, and we do not use it for advertising.

Service providers

Crash and error reports, and feedback, are processed by a provider of crash reporting and performance monitoring, on our behalf and on our instructions only, and stored in the European Union. On Android, Google provides camera measuring as described above. Information may also be disclosed to any person to whom we are required or permitted to disclose it by law. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with third parties for their own purposes.

Retention

• Crash and error reports, and feedback — deleted automatically after at most 90 days.
• What is on your device — until you uninstall the app.

Your choices

• Camera: turn it off for Table Leveler in your device settings, and type the size in instead.
• Delete: uninstall the app to remove everything it has stored. Because crash reports are not linked to any person, we can't find or delete reports about you specifically.

Children

Table Leveler has no accounts and does not ask anyone, including children, for personal information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we change what the app sends or keeps, we will update this page before the change reaches the app, and change the date above.
