How do I find out what a button does?
Press and hold any button on the Metronome screen to see what it does, or tap ? at the top for a guide to every button. Settings → Show the quick tips again brings back the first-launch tips.
Does it keep playing with the screen off?
Yes. On Android a notification shows while it plays, with a Stop button. While the click or the drone plays and you're on another tab, a bar above the tabs shows it with a Stop button. If the click ever stops with the screen off, tell us your phone model.
The click is late with Bluetooth headphones
Bluetooth adds a delay. Go to Settings → Headphone delay → Start, then tap along with the click. Steady remembers the delay for each pair of headphones, so the beat on screen and the vibration match what you hear.
Feel mode stops vibrating on iPhone
iPhones vibrate only for the app on screen. Use Pocket mode (in Feel mode): the screen stays on but black and ignores touches. Press and hold to leave it.
The tuner doesn't hear anything
It needs the microphone. In your phone's Settings → Steady, allow the microphone. Play one note at a time, close to the phone.
How do I keep my songs safe, or move them to a new phone?
Settings → Back up to a file, and save it to iCloud Drive, Google Drive or email. On the new phone, Settings → Restore or import a file.
How do I send a setlist to my band?
Open the setlist and tap Link or File under Share with the band. Bandmates with Steady can add it in one tap.
